Commercial Manager supporting the Commercial Head in driving business growth for Pacific International Lines. Collaborating with various business units to optimize operations and commercial activities in the OSRO region.
Responsibilities
Support the Commercial Head in developing regional commercial strategies.
Monitor countries’ commercial performance on regular basis.
Drive agencies to work strategically on inbound/outbound business growth.
Identify issues for underperforming countries and coaching by standardizing sales processes, setting proper KPIs.
Identify new business opportunities for the OSRO countries, like new service proposals, according to market demand.
Train and improve Agencies Sales capabilities of market intelligence analysis.
Contribute to annual Commercial budget setting.
Co-lead projects if any.
Participate in industry events and conferences.
Frequent visiting to agencies in the region.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant shipping experience.
Highly numerate with good analytical thinking and quantitative skills.
Self-driven with ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) & people management.
Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
Willing to Travel when required.
