About the role

  • Regional Manager leading transformation and growth at People First Bank. Drive revenue and customer engagement across Toowoomba and Darling Downs region.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth in customers, revenue, service, and profitability through effective planning and delivery of retail banking strategies.
  • Lead a strong risk culture across the region, responsible for effective risk management, proactive protection of customers, compliance with regulatory requirements and issue management.
  • Build, develop, and motivate high-performing leaders and teams, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and a customer-first culture.
  • Provide effective change leadership to implement transformation initiatives and deliver aligned, consistent customer experiences.
  • Manage regional budgets and resources to maximise operational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.
  • Promote the region in the community through corporate social responsibilities, business networking and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Have proven leadership experience in a retail banking environment
  • Proven success in building capability, culture, and momentum across dispersed teams
  • Confidence in driving change and embedding new ways of working
  • Demonstrate sound judgement, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills
