About the role

  • EU Projects Manager at Telelink Business Services responsible for expanding business through innovation-driven funded projects. Collaborating with stakeholders and managing complex projects funded by international donor schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and present funding opportunities for RIA/IA projects funded by European funds, the World Bank, and other donor schemes
  • Keep TBS’s teams informed of relevant European funding opportunities and major initiatives impacting ICT funding and business growth
  • Contribute to the expansion of strategic technological areas within TBS by generating new business opportunities and driving innovation
  • Act as the primary liaison between funding bodies (e.g., European Commission), project Steering Committees, project partners, and internal teams
  • Conduct research and gather necessary information to support strategic projects and decision-making
  • Support the preparation and submission of strategic project proposals, and provide technical assistance for cross-border cooperation projects
  • Stay updated on TBS policies related to research and innovation to ensure all projects comply with internal and external regulations
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and new customers to expand the company's network and reach future clients
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in the ICT sector that can enhance the competitive edge of TBS in securing future projects
  • Work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and engineering, to align project goals with organizational capabilities and ensure all aspects of the project are well-coordinated

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Law, International Relations or other related fields)
  • +5 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing complex projects, particularly those funded by international donors schemes or public sector entities
  • Prior experience working in an international context or with global partners, particularly in cross-border project management, would be advantageous
  • PhD is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of EU funding mechanisms
  • Ability to match needs with appropriate funding opportunities
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, expertise, and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong team spirit with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
  • Eager to learn, grow and take initiative
  • High level of resilience and adaptability
  • Familiarity with best practices in managing EU-funded projects
  • Experience with preparing and submitting grant applications for international and national funding
  • Knowledge of current technological trends that could impact project work
