About the role
- UX/UI Designer creating exceptional web and mobile application experiences at Pella Corporation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and design functionality.
Responsibilities
- Create exceptional web and mobile application experiences.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, and end users to understand key objectives and pain points.
- Specialize in developing native components and delivering a UI that emphasizes simplicity, intuitive interactions, and core functionality.
- Work closely with software developers to ensure components are programmable and feasible for native mobile & web development.
- Assist the UX Lead in creating high-fidelity designs that turn strategic direction into features and user stories.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the design library used across digital tools (web and mobile) and multiple websites.
- Create wireframes and clickable AI enhanced prototypes using design system components.
- Conduct user research sessions capturing and refining data and outputs.
- Help create UX affinity maps, journey maps, & task flows.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design is preferred; however, candidates with a related design degree paired with a UX/UI certification are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience designing both native mobile and web applications; familiarity with React Native is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with Figma (exposure to Figma Make is a plus), analytics tools and dashboards such as Power BI, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, is preferred.
