Responsibilities
Monitors and analyzes Electric Distribution, Transmission and Substation GIS portfolio performance
Fosters transformational opportunities in partnership with business partners
Establishes and manages service-level agreements with business partners
Develops, prioritizes, and communicates strategic goals, processes, and project roadmaps
Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, enterprise standards, and governance processes
Builds high-performing teams by providing resources, training, and skill development
Leads the evaluation, selection, and execution of system investments
Oversees successful implementation of Electric Distribution, Transmission and Substation systems
Provides operational support, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement for GIS applications
Reviews and recommends sourcing strategies
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Geography, Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
8 years of experience in programming/systems analysis, project management, and/or IT strategy planning or other related area
Masters Degree in Geography, GIS or Business Administration or equivalent experience (Desired)
Leadership experience (Desired)
IT-Information Technology Utility industry experience (Desired)
PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification (Desired)
Familiarity with PG&E’s Elevate and Propel programs (Desired)
Experience with ArcGIS Pro, Schneider Electric’s ArcFM and SAP (Desired)
Telecommunications Domain knowledge (Desired)
Hydro Power Domain knowledge (Desired)
Experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and linear referencing is a plus (Desired)
