Responsibilities
Own performance across assigned paid search accounts, with full accountability for results
Set clear optimization priorities aligned to business goals such as revenue, pipeline, efficiency, or growth
Oversee budgets and pacing to ensure disciplined investment and no preventable over or underspend
Identify risks early and implement corrective action before escalation is required
Provide confident, data-backed recommendations to Client Service and senior stakeholders
Translate client business objectives into clear search strategies and execution direction
Guide account structure, bidding strategy, testing frameworks, and measurement approach
Partner with Media Strategy, Client Service, Creative, and Performance teams to ensure integrated execution
Coach and develop Senior Associates and Associates on performance judgement and optimization strategy
Create clarity around priorities, success metrics, and decision-making frameworks
Model and encourage responsible AI usage to improve efficiency and quality of output
Requirements
Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads across complex, performance-driven accounts
Demonstrated ownership of performance outcomes, not just execution
Experience setting channel strategy tied to measurable business objectives such as CPL, CAC, ROAS, or revenue growth
Ability to manage budgets responsibly and make confident investment trade-offs
Proven experience mentoring or developing more junior team members
Clear, direct communicator who can translate performance data into business impact
Comfort operating in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple stakeholders
