HR Consultant at OneDigital providing strategic HR guidance and support to clients through policies and programs. Collaborating with client representatives to ensure effective HR practices and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Provides expert advice, counsel and implementation support on a fractional, interim or project-basis in areas of HR that include HR Policy and Compliance (Handbook), Employment Processing and Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, and Liaison to Benefits, Payroll and HR Technology Providers across our clients, which range from small/emerging-growth to mid-size organizations.
Promotes HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment.
Proactively expand HR expertise across all functional areas to serve as a trusted subject matter expert for clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives including employees, management, vendors, and other relevant partners to ensure overall client satisfaction and timely resolution of HR matters.
Interprets client contracts and management of billable work with responsibility to track and properly report time, identifies supplemental services and opportunity for additional billable work.
Demonstrates proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task by managing the moving parts and priorities of multiple clients.
Work may be at the client’s site or remotely – some travel will be required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field; and a minimum of 7 years of HR experience as an HR Generalist/Leader;
A blend of both corporate and consulting experience. Consulting firm background/experience is preferred in the accounting/consulting or HR consulting industries;
Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification strongly preferred;
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and a strong understanding of existing and emerging HR and business operational technology tools and platforms.
Experience using an HRIS system is required. Experience in implementing an HRIS system is preferred.
A sense of urgency and exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with a desire to build long, lasting relationships.
Strong research, analytical and project management skills.
Strong presentation skills.
The ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout the firm.
