IT-Help Desk Agent ensuring smooth IT operations for OMEXOM's offices, supporting administration of servers and clients, and providing user assistance.
Responsibilities
Take on a variety of tasks in IT administration for MS Windows Server and clients as well as mobile devices
Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues and resolve incidents in 1st- and 2nd-level support
Ensure smooth onboarding of new colleagues and set up users and devices
Assist users with software and hardware issues
Track and document support requests in the Jira ticketing system
Escalate complex problems to the appropriate specialist departments
Create IT documentation to ensure reliable operations
Document processes, system configurations and changes in Atlassian Confluence
Requirements
Completed vocational training in IT, e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration, or a comparable qualification
Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira
Knowledge of server administration and network environments
Terms like “DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell or the OSI model” should not be unfamiliar to you
Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
Experience in IT support or help desk roles
Technical affinity and a curious mindset
Problem-solving skills and a service-oriented approach to work
Driving license (category B or Class 3)
Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
Good German and English language skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
