Learning & Development Specialist at Octopus Energy Spain focusing on training and talent acquisition. Driving onboarding and fostering a learning culture within the organization.
Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers and department leads to identify skill gaps and design impactful training paths (soft skills, leadership, and technical onboarding).
Elevate our "Octo-onboarding," ensuring every new joiner feels welcomed, informed, and ready to succeed from day one.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for specific roles, from sourcing and interviewing to offer management, ensuring a perfect cultural fit.
Drive initiatives that foster a continuous learning mindset and strengthen our culture across the Spanish team.
Track and analyze L&D metrics (training ROI, participation, and feedback) to constantly improve the quality of our development programs.
Facilitate workshops and create engaging content/resources for our internal knowledge base.
Work closely with our international Talent & People teams to align development strategies and share best practices.
Manage training logistics, coordinate with external providers, use our ATS (Lever) for hiring, and help with contracts… we all pitch in!
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in People/HR roles, with a strong focus on Learning & Development, training coordination, or talent management.
Proven ability to manage recruitment processes (end-to-end) and identify top-tier talent.
Passion for creating world-class learning experiences; you care deeply about how people learn and grow.
Experience working with ATS tools (Lever) and ideally some exposure to LMS (Learning Management Systems) or content creation tools.
Comfort working in ambiguity; you are hands-on, solutions-focused, and love turning "we should do this" into "it's done."
Strong skills to build trust and credibility with managers to diagnose team needs effectively.
Fluent in Spanish and English (B2–C1 level or higher).
