HR Technician responsible for acquisition of talent, employee integration, recognition, and HR communications. Position requires a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Support talent acquisition activities, including drafting and posting job advertisements across various channels, screening resumes, preselecting candidates based on job requirements, conducting phone or virtual interviews, and participating in in-person interviews.
Coordinate the hiring process by managing communications with candidates throughout the process, preparing salary proposals, offer letters and required hiring documents, documenting systems and updating spreadsheets.
Coordinate employee onboarding, including orientation, document preparation and logistics.
Contribute to employee recognition, health and wellness by participating in projects or activities related to retention and engagement, supporting initiatives aligned with these objectives.
Coordinate employee communications via the intranet, including scheduling HR posts to ensure effective information dissemination.
Perform any other duties related to the organization’s activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Administration with an HR option, or equivalent training.
Excellent written and spoken French and a good knowledge of spoken English.
Knowledge of BambooHR is an asset.
3–5 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
