Community Engagement & Education Specialist working at CCS to engage with the community and support financial literacy programs. Focus on partnership development and existing relationship enhancement.
Responsibilities
Identify and foster new, mutually beneficial partnerships through community engagement.
Nurture and maintain existing paid partner relationships through various means.
Identify sponsorship ideas that meet the needs of existing partners.
Engage in financial literacy educational support, impact reporting, and stakeholder awareness of CCS’s programs and services.
Requirements
Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in communications or education, is an asset.
Three to five years of experience in finance, business development, and education.
Entrepreneurial mindset and a well-developed professional relationship-building skill set.
Ability to manage a portfolio of corporate relationships with a high degree of confidence.
Ability to build and manage their own client pipelines.
Dynamic presentation, facilitation, and teaching skills, with the ability to engage audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others.
Understanding of consumer credit and personal money management concepts.
Empathy and a genuine desire to work as part of a team and help people.
Strong organizational abilities, including the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency in CRM applications and usage.
Fluency in both English and French is required.
