Responsibilities
Manage and lead the sales team, guiding the team in the market to optimize performance and achieve established targets.
Develop and implement the national sales strategy for engines for OEMs and distributors, aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
Set annual sales targets and objectives by region and by team, monitoring progress.
Analyze the market and competitors to adapt strategies when necessary and remain competitive.
Assess sales costs and the financial risks associated with product commercialization.
Analyze sales data and performance indicators to identify growth opportunities, anticipate issues and propose solutions.
Control and manage the resources available to the sales team, optimizing their use.
Maintain strategic contact with existing and potential customers to strengthen relationships and drive revenue.
Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the company and its equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business, Commercial Management or related fields. An engineering degree will be considered a plus.
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Commercial Management or related areas is desirable.
Solid sales experience in the engines/agricultural, heavy-duty or industrial equipment segment.
Deep understanding of the market and competitors in the sector.
Knowledge of sales processes from prospecting through delivery.
Ability to analyze sales indicators, identify improvement opportunities and reduce costs.
Familiarity with CRM software to track and analyze sales data.
Understanding of the financial aspects of sales, such as cost and risk assessment.
