Responsibilities
Generate market information relevant to the assigned territory
Qualify long-range projects via face-to-face customer meetings
Perform cold calling to selected schools and municipalities
Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers with projects timed to order exceeding 12 months
Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services
Provide support to Sales Management to achieve short and long-term strategic goals
Attend tradeshows and conferences and support the internal Team with initiatives
Requirements
College degree in Sports Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Business, or related field
1-5 years of previous work experience preferred; entry-level college graduate will be considered
Passion for selling and building trusting relationships with our customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups
Proven organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage the workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines, and internal communications
Work collaboratively with the internal Team to support customers
Self-disciplined to work independently to achieve results
Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset
Tenacious, able to persevere through sales challenges and setbacks
Strong technical aptitude, ability to understand and present Musco products and services
