Sales Resource Writer responsible for developing proposals and presentations for M&T Bank. Collaborating with sales teams and ensuring compliance while maintaining project ownership.
Responsibilities
Responds to request for proposals (RFPs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and presentations
Develops other sales support materials to generate new business and retain clients across all business lines
Interacts with sales teams, Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, Product Managers, Performance team, subject matter experts and senior management to support creation and development of winning proposals and presentations to prospects and clients
Works with Legal and Compliance to ensure developed materials are fully compliant with all related laws and regulations
Maintains ownership of all assigned projects through sales cycle, including meeting all deadlines
Ensures internal reporting is complete and accurate for deal flow
Utilizes internal and external systems to research new business opportunities
Partners with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and brand delivery for all material developed
Understands and adheres to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite
Identifies risk-related issues needing escalation to management
Promotes an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Completes other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Detail-oriented
Experience multi-tasking and adhering to strict deadlines
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with pertinent word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Prior experience working independently and collaboratively
Prior experience being highly flexible and adaptive to change
