- Grant and RFP Writer responsible for proposal writing, developing proposals, and reviewing funding opportunities. Working on internal projects and serving external clients in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for proposal writing, developing proposals, and searching for and reviewing grant opportunities and RFPs.
- Support proposal development activities for grants, contracts, Request for Proposals, or other funding mechanism.
- Identify and review funding opportunities.
- Draft proposals, budgets, and ancillary documents, and handle submissions.
- Create schedules and tracking calendars; attend client meetings; assist in tracking projects.
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred.
- Three or more years of relevant experience in proposal writing, capacity building or other related fields.
- Three or more years of experience working with community based organizations, non-profit organizations, or local government organizations.
- Technical fluency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe DC, and Google.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
