- Full-Time Merchandiser Order Writer at Mondelēz International responsible for retail execution. Delivering outstanding service and maintaining visibility of iconic snack brands in-store.
Responsibilities
- Represent Mondelēz: in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owners of the biscuit aisle.
- Serve as the face of the company: delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers
- Execute daily: store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery ( DSD ) Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via digital merchandising initiative ( DMI )
- Build and maintain: strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands
- Order product: via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce
- Implement promotional displays: and ensure compliance with your Retail Territory Manager ( RTM ) -negotiated plans with the stores
- Follow daily schedules: and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues
- Support seasonal sales: new product launches, and high visibility merchandising events
- Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team
- Stay Safe & Compliant: embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or can earn your GED while gaining the skills!
- 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
- Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
- Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stockroom to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
- Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Boonton, NJ
