New Business Account Executive focused on the Social Housing sector selling software solutions. A hybrid role based in London or Sleaford to build client relationships and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
Represent MRI professionally and build strong relationships with senior decision-makers
Achieve quarterly and annual new business sales targets
Build and manage a robust pipeline to support revenue goals
Identify and develop new business opportunities across local authorities and housing associations
Recommend appropriate solutions and negotiate commercial terms
Respond to tenders, RFIs, RFPs and ITTs
Work closely with Sales Engineering to produce proposals and quotations
Manage opportunities end-to-end, from initial enquiry through to close
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasts and sales activity in Salesforce
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Sales Operations, Marketing, Development and Implementation teams
Requirements
Proven success in a target-driven, new business sales environment
Experience selling software solutions
Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to qualify opportunities
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging at C-suite level
Organised, self-sufficient and able to manage complex, long sales cycles
Team-oriented, with a proactive and independent working style
Knowledge of the Social Housing or Public Sector is desirable but not essential
