Responsibilities
Own the entire customer journey, from pre-sales engagement and onboarding to post-sales success and retention
Lead technical conversations with prospects and customers, guiding them through demos, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and production deployments
Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers get maximum value from MetalBear's platform
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to shape our offering based on real customer needs
Build from zero-to-one: Help define our customer engineering playbook and scale best practices across regions
Requirements
3-5+ years of experience in high-performance environments (startups, scale-ups, or fast-moving tech companies)
Strong technical foundation: Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, microservices), and able to write/read code confidently
Customer-centric mindset: You’ve worked in technical customer-facing roles and know how to communicate clearly, build trust, and drive value
Self-starter mentality: Comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and thrive in environments with minimal oversight
Excellent communicator: You can adapt your message to both technical and business audiences
Execution-focused: Strong organizational skills, able to juggle priorities, and deliver high-quality work consistently
Bonus: Experience in pre-sales engineering, customer success, or solutions architecture, especially in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles
