About the role

  • Quality Systems Manager overseeing the development and implementation of Quality Systems at McCormick. Ensuring compliance with regulations and managing sanitation and HACCP requirements in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and audit Quality Systems for all departments of the Plant
  • Manage sanitation and ensure compliance with GMP requirements
  • Manage HACCP program and compliance to Corporate, Regulatory, and Customer requirements
  • Document Plant's HACCP Program
  • Facilitate third-party and regulatory audits for the Plant
  • Provide feedback on sanitation and GMP issues
  • Monitor warehouse performance in sanitation/pest control
  • Make strategic purchases for quality systems
  • Coordinate Plant activities and training related to Divisional and Corporate Quality System Programs

Requirements

  • BA in Food Science or Biology
  • 4 years of Food manufacturing QC experience
  • Understanding of food processing requirements and government regulations
  • Liquid products knowledge a plus
