About the role
- Assistant Process Manager responsible for scheduling and managing seed production operations in Buzet-sur-Baïse, France. Collaborating with teams and overseeing machine operations and team training.
Responsibilities
- You plan teams' work in coordination with the Process Manager and the senior deputy, based on production volumes and client requirements.
- You recruit necessary seasonal resources (temporary workers, seasonal staff).
- You assist the Process Manager with daily team management and substitute for them in their absence.
- You liaise with clients and support teams based in Germany.
- You provide on-the-job training to operators and ensure machines are correctly set up and used.
- You write and update production procedures.
- You ensure the conformity of produced goods and compliance with quality standards.
- You enforce strict adherence to safety rules.
Requirements
- You hold a BTS or equivalent qualification, ideally with initial experience in seed production or in an industrial environment.
- Basic English skills to communicate with German clients.
- Comfortable with computers and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team and have basic management experience.
- Interested in technical processes and comfortable with basic mechanics (simple adjustments, first-level maintenance).
- Willingness to work in an environment that uses phytosanitary products (internal training provided).
