About the role
- Business Analyst responsible for supporting deposit product success at Manulife Bank through strategic direction and project management. Collaborating with teams for system enhancements and improvements in sales retention.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Product team to understand, define, and test business requirements
- Provide strategic direction to business stakeholders on defining processes and system enhancements
- Work with Core Engineering (IT) to ensure changes are completed and tested
- Strategically design a compensation system for sales teams to retain deposits
- Prioritize requirements with business stakeholders and guide large projects
- Collaborate with business analyst partners in other business units to share best practices
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, or Mathematics or equivalent business experience
- Prior experience in Change Management, Business Analysis, or Project Management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems in a clear and concise manner to senior colleagues
- 1-3 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong Excel or Power BI Skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and/or Python is an asset
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence is an asset
- Previous experience in banking industry is an asset
