About the role
- IT System Engineer responsible for Microsoft 365 environment management in Ebermannsdorf, Germany. Focus on Identity, Access, and Security concepts with an emphasis on cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable operation and continuous development of the Microsoft 365 platform with a focus on Identity & Security
- Manage and secure endpoints using Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, software distribution)
- Automate and standardize cloud and identity processes, e.g., using PowerShell
- Contribute to cloud strategies, architectural enhancements, and IT projects
- Analyze incidents and provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a degree in an IT-related field such as Computer Science or Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification
- Solid understanding of cloud security, access models, and regulatory requirements
- Experience designing and implementing identity and security concepts
- Broad foundational knowledge of traditional Microsoft on-premises technologies, especially Active Directory, and their role in hybrid environments
- Good PowerShell skills for automating cloud processes
- Very good German (C1) and good English (B2)
