About the role
- ERP Consultant tasked with analyzing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics Business Central ERP solutions. Engaging with clients to enhance business processes and lead projects in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis: Collecting and assessing the customer's business processes to define ERP requirements
- System configuration: Setting up and customizing Business Central according to the company's specific requirements
- Data migration: Planning and executing the transfer of legacy data into the new ERP system
- Training and support: Conducting end-user training and providing post Go-Live support
- Process optimization: Advising on business process improvements through targeted use of ERP functionality
- Project management: Coordinating ERP implementation projects, including time and resource planning
- Teamwork and communication: Close collaboration with software development colleagues to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably with an IT focus, or at least 1–2 years' professional experience as an IT consultant (advantageous)
- Solid experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central — either as an IT consultant or as a key user
- Functional knowledge of business processes: Understanding of financial accounting, purchasing, sales, inventory/warehouse or production processes
- Technical know-how
- Project management competence: Ability to plan, manage and successfully deliver ERP projects
- Experience with training and support: Proven ability to deliver end-user training and handle support requests
- Strong communication skills: Confident client-facing manner and ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Analytical thinking: Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into functional ERP solutions
