About the role
- Join LEAP as a Database Designer, enhancing legal software with your expertise in law and technology. Transform legal knowledge into efficient, automated solutions within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Continually improve Matter types and tables that capture our client’s data
- Manage a portfolio of calculations, written in JavaScript, for use by LEAP clients
- Maintain and update various legal rates & charges across Australia, including Stamp Duty calculations, using JavaScript
- Apply UX/UI principles to design and develop responsive and dynamic layouts used in LEAP tables
- Work closely with Forms Designers to continually improve the automation and functionality of legal forms
- Review and prioritise feedback from clients and staff on improving the Matter types, tables and calculations in your portfolio
- Work with the latest document automation technology for the legal industry to deliver new methods of automation to our clients
- Provide assistance and support to other Content staff in similar teams
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience working with legal matters (all areas of law considered)
- Experience using Word document automation software
- Understanding of JavaScript
- Understanding of UX/UI principles would be beneficial but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
