Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand new features and improvements, and update documentation accordingly within set deadlines.
- Translate technical information into accessible documentation that is both comprehensive and understandable to a wide range of users.
- Create step-by-step guides, screenshots, diagrams, and other visual assets to aid user understanding.
- Maintain the documentation site's technical stack (version upgrades), working closely with your technical point of contact and the Product Designer.
- Review product and API specifications with a focus on optimizing the developer experience (error messages, field names, structure).
- Proofread technical specifications and interface content to ensure grammatical consistency and an appropriate level of English.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, with prior experience documenting REST APIs.
- Proficiency with doc-as-code workflows (VitePress), Git, Postman, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Excellent written English skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work closely with technical teams and translate complex information into easily understandable documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet publication deadlines.
- Knowledge of the payments domain and experience with knowledge management for internal documentation are a plus.
