About the role

  • Project manager overseeing construction projects in Southern Germany for LEAN Projektmanagement GmbH. Engaging with clients, managing teams, and applying LEAN methodology to enhance construction processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for advising and supporting our clients and client teams on-site and throughout the project
  • Provide structure and methodology for our clients' construction teams
  • Coordinate schedules on the construction site
  • Serve as the contact person and process expert on site; moderate meetings, workshops, and project discussions
  • Support project teams and subcontractors in LEAN methodology
  • Conduct overall project analyses, process mapping, pull planning, and more
  • Visualize work results in our cloud tools, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Process collected data into key performance indicators (KPIs) to make construction progress measurable
  • Develop and optimize project-specific site layout planning and work preparation with regard to material flow
  • Contribute to the creation of schedules and support necessary work preparation, including converting process recordings into schedule planning (Asta Powerproject and MS Project)

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a construction-related engineering field (Bachelor and/or Master) with at least 3 years of professional experience (civil engineering or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of construction processes in building execution, fit-out, or infrastructure construction
  • Experience in work preparation and required site facilities is helpful but not mandatory
  • Good IT skills in MS Office 365 applications; ideally you also have experience with scheduling software such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project
  • A strong service-oriented mindset and a structured working style are a matter of course for you
  • Ideally you have experience in LEAN (Construction) Management and/or Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) — however, you can also learn this with us
  • You are always open to and interested in new developments and innovations
  • Willingness to work on rotational assignments 2–3 days per week at different locations across Southern Germany and Austria
