Responsibilities
Develop and implement supplier development programs with a focus on Lean Manufacturing
Conduct and facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and value stream analyses at suppliers and internally
Analyze production and quality processes and derive sustainable improvement measures
Coach suppliers and internal teams in Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, Standard Work, PDCA)
Drive improvement initiatives to reduce costs, lead times, and waste
Define and use KPIs to identify improvement potential and drive sustainable performance improvements
Support ramp-ups, production stabilization, and escalation management
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end operational excellence
Requirements
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or a comparable field
At least 5 years of professional experience in Production Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Supplier Development
Strong knowledge of common Lean methodologies and continuous improvement approaches
Six Sigma Black Belt
Hands-on experience on the shopfloor and in facilitating workshops
Analytical strength combined with pragmatic execution skills
Solid experience in supplier development, ideally in an international environment
Confident appearance, assertiveness, and strong communication skills
Excellent English skills and willingness to travel to production sites
