About the role
- System Engineer managing and maintaining Microsoft environments in a hybrid role. Collaborating with clients on projects while ensuring system stability without frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Support, maintenance and further development of our customers' Microsoft environments (on-premises and Microsoft Cloud).
- Work performed both remotely and partially on-site.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers for planned projects as well as incidents and technical inquiries.
- No long business trips.
- Our customers are reachable within approximately one hour by car.
- No on-call duty.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent; career changers with strong IT skills are also welcome.
- Solid professional experience with Microsoft on-premises or Microsoft 365 products.
- Passion for and experience with Microsoft environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, WSUS, DNS, Exchange and file services.
- Experience working with Microsoft Cloud services such as Exchange Online, Azure AD Connect (AADC), Microsoft 365 Protection Plans or Intune.
- Familiarity with virtual servers running on Hyper-V and VMware.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Class B driving license.
- Willingness to travel within the Hamburg metropolitan area.
