- Work as a Senior Business Analyst, responsible for providing detailed analysis, evaluation and facilitating the development and implementation of improvements to business systems, processes and workflows
- Engage with stakeholders to capture business needs and develop clear roadmaps
- Prepare high quality investment briefs that outline any issues, context, costs, and priority to support informed funding decisions
- Apply and monitor the use of appropriate modelling, analysis tools, and standards
- Identify and deliver business improvement opportunities across a portfolio of often complex initiatives
- Develop opportunities to enhance investment planning and delivery processes, including proposals for senior leadership
- Oversee the development and improvement of monitoring and reporting systems, including supporting benefits realisation reviews
- Coordinate the development of specifications with specialists to translate user needs into clear technical requirements
- Maintain up to date knowledge of business analysis best practices and promoting their adoption internally
Requirements
- Significant experience as a technology focused Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst
- Strong process mapping/roadmap planning skills, with the ability to translate business goals into structured, phased delivery plans
- Relevant industry certification such as IIBA (ECBA/CCBA/CBAP), PMI PBA, BCS Business Analysis, ITIL, or equivalent
- Solid experience developing and enhancing internal processes with diverse technical capabilities and maturity stages
- Ability to manage conflicting or competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
- Preferred but not essential: Maritime sector experience (or comparable industry exposure)
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Understanding of integration technologies and APIs
