About the role

• Analista de Monitoramento e Avaliação no Instituto Unibanco para contribuir com políticas de educação pública. Foco em avaliações executivas e suporte a secretarias de educação.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct evaluations of public policies, with an emphasis on conducting executive evaluations;
• Support education departments in incorporating monitoring and evaluation routines and processes;
• Organize and facilitate workshops with managers and technical teams to disseminate M&E practices and tools;
• Prepare technical and analytical reports on the evolution of M&E systems' maturity and the institutional capacities of partner governments;
• Translate evidence into practical recommendations to improve public policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Economics, or related fields;
• Postgraduate or Master’s degree desirable in Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, or related areas;
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation of public policies, with strong command of M&E methodologies and practices, including conducting executive evaluations;
• Knowledge of public management operations and institutional frameworks;
• Familiarity with the design, implementation, and evaluation of education-related policies;
• Proficiency with instruments such as problem trees, logic models, and theory of change;
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative approaches, including mixed methods.
