About the role
- Join ADI Global Distribution's Indirect Tax Team as an Intrastat Analyst. Responsible for monthly VAT compliance and reporting for multiple businesses across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file monthly Intrastat declarations for all ADI companies within the EU
- Work with Procurement and other teams to ensure all data fields required for Intrastat reporting are available in SAP
- Prepare and analyze reports to support team members in the month end process
- Assist with updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure documentation
- Assist the business with Tax authority queries and audits
- Assist the business with ad hoc requests and internal audits
- Prepare VAT Returns, EC Sales Lists, & other mandatory reports related to VAT
- Prepare monthly VAT return overviews for Country Controllers to assist with approvals
- Prepare data for submission of VAT payment requests; ensure deadlines for payment are met and highlight large month on month fluctuations in payments or refunds
- Identify areas of incorrect VAT treatment as part of the VAT return process and communicate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams regarding correct booking of documents from VAT perspective
Requirements
- Experience in relevant accounting / VAT compliance
- Experience in preparation of Intrastat Declarations
- Fluent English is essential with other languages an advantage
- Proficient in Excel
