About the role
- Senior Principal Analyst empowering C-suite leaders with market insights in enterprise storage. Leveraging expertise in market sizing, forecasting, and competitive analysis for informed decision making.
Responsibilities
- develop and maintain robust market sizing and forecasting models for the enterprise storage sector
- analyze strategies of storage providers, data center operators, and hyperscale’s
- author unique, thought-provoking, and position-driven actionable research content
- advise clients on strategic opportunities and market headwinds/tailwinds related to storage technologies
- conduct rigorous market analyses and opportunity assessments
- create and deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings
- maintain a client-centric approach, actively engaging clients with Gartner research and advisory experiences
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant industry experience in data center infrastructure and enterprise storage technologies
- demonstrated experience in market sizing and forecasting
- advanced modeling skills (statistical modeling, scenario analysis, predictive analytics)
- highly numerate with exceptional critical thinking skills
- passionate about predictive thinking and complex forecast analysis
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- strong sense of ownership and a 'get-it-done' attitude
- strong organizational skills; able to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or advanced professional qualification(s); Master’s Degree or MBA is an advantage
