Responsibilities
A BDR (Business Development Representative) is responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities.
Their core focus is on outbound prospecting, early-stage sales engagement, and building a healthy pipeline for Account Executives (AEs).
Conduct cold calls, cold emails, and social outreach (e.g., LinkedIn).
Personalize messaging to engage prospects effectively.
Get to 10 weekly meetings.
Handover 10 weekly meetings to AEs.
Provide feedback to marketing on what messaging resonates.
Requirements
Prospecting & Outreach Identify potential customers through research, tools, and market data.
Lead Qualification Hold initial conversations to understand a prospect’s needs, challenges, and fit.
Create a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Schedule meetings or demos for Account Executives.
Follow-Up & Nurturing Maintain communication with prospects who aren’t immediately ready to buy.
Maintain accurate activity logs and report on KPIs: calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, opportunities created.
Stay informed about the product, competitors, and industry trends to improve outreach.
