About the role

  • Personal Lines Account Manager at Unland Insurance & Benefits responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships and managing insurance account inquiries. Engaged in service and marketing activities along with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies
  • Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
  • Work with new clients to understand their needs and present policy options
  • Support a producer to review existing policies and bind renewals
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with team members and mentor staff

Requirements

  • Hold the insurance license required by your state
  • Minimum of two years Personal Lines insurance account management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
  • Strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent math and reading skills to perform calculations
  • Attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset
  • Technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems, rating tools, and carrier website navigation
