HVAC Sales Account Manager focusing on developing sales and client relationships for a mechanical and electrical contractor. Collaborating with Business Development to maximize sales potential in Maryland and Virginia regions.
Responsibilities
Developing relationships with potential customers
Providing proposals and sales presentations
Prospecting for new accounts
Providing clients with product services/information
Gaining customer approval for contracted/service or project and repair work
Maintaining situational awareness of client pricing and payments
Accounts Receivable management
Client correspondence
Profit/Loss reports
Quality assurance (QA) support
Industry and trade show participation
Establishing relationships with prospective clients
Seeking out and researching prospective projects through various methods
Contacting prospective client point of contact
Working with the Business Development Manager, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors to review and improve commercial account programs
Managing through analysis and solutions-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume and profitability of account clients
Preparing and delivering client presentations and business proposals
Developing, writing and reviewing client proposal documents
Requirements
Highschool or GED required
4+ years’ experience in HVAC commercial service and sales
Relevant technical experience in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment is a plus but not required
Customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude
Financial acumen
Experience with estimating and budgeting
Experience in developing technical and cost proposals is plus but can be developed
Must be comfortable using excel spreadsheets
Must be able to travel within 25 miles of the site
