About the role
- International Payroll Specialist responsible for payroll processing across Europe and South Africa. Collaborating with Finance and HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Processing, auditing, and reconciliation of payrolls
- Managing relationships with various stakeholders and payroll providers
- Coordinating payroll approvals & payment instructions with the Finance team
- Preparing monthly payroll GL journal, accrual reports, and month-end closing reporting activities
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, collective labor agreements, and company policies
- Attending to payroll-specific queries from employees
- Supporting various internal and external audits
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in an international payroll/accounting environment
- Knowledge and experience processing International payroll for Europe
- Understanding of payroll regulations, compliance, and tax laws
- Experience with outsourced payroll provider (ADP SPM knowledge is a plus)
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders including local payroll providers
- Proficiency in Excel Microsoft Office
