About the role
- Program Lead managing Stars improvement initiatives within Humana’s Insurance Operations. Coordinating with various teams for data quality and member experience enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Stars-related projects within Stars Enterprise Activation, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Serve as a critical liaison between the principal and functional teams, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans.
- Identify delivery risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain program dashboards, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Coordinate with enterprise partners including analytics, quality, compliance, legal, IT, and operational teams to embed Stars strategies into workflows.
- Drive process enhancements to improve efficiency and increase Stars performance outcomes.
- Identify Stars data opportunities and work across stakeholders to improve data accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years in program and/or project management within healthcare or insurance operations
- Minimum 2 years working with CMS Stars programs
- Experience with HEDIS data and analysis
- Prior experience coordinating large-scale, multi‑department initiatives
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skillset; particularly in PPT and Excel
