About the role
- Satellite Operations Engineer monitoring and managing complex satellite services at BT Madley. Acting as the first point of contact for faults and ensuring reliable services to customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and management of our satellite services
- Act as the first point of contact for faults, incidents and service interruptions — proactively keeping customers informed.
- Lead incident and fault triage, driving rapid resolution and escalation.
- Work closely with 2nd/3rd line teams, Ground Agents and international partners.
- Maintain accurate reporting and clear communication with customers.
- Operate Earth Station equipment
- Monitor key site systems (fire alarms, power systems, heating, etc.).
- Support continuous service improvement and optimisation.
Requirements
