Associate Insurance Advisor supporting commercial clients at HUB International. Engaging in customer service and insurance coverage management from our Burnaby office in Canada.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer experience to internal and external customers
Demonstrate good technical insurance knowledge of coverages
Follow Hub Service Guidelines
Demonstrate commitment to teamwork by supporting Account Executive/Account Manager and Marketer with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts
Act as primary Customer Service Contact in the absence of Account Executive/Account Manager
Respond to customer requests directly (or indirectly from Account Executive/Account Manager), submits information to appropriate insurance companies and binds coverage where appropriate
Attend Critical Path meetings; follow up on action items required by Account Executive/Account Manager, Marketer or Servicer
Prepare proposals, rate sheets, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices as per agency standards
Process all documentation according to Hub workflows
Maintain accuracy of electronic files
Requirements
Level 2 General Insurance License
2-3 years of insurance experience
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Typing speed of at least 55 wpm
