About the role
- Field Service Technician maintaining industrial equipment for The Home Depot. Conducting repairs and preventive maintenance while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment
- Diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment both mechanically and electrically
- Utilize company technology platform to document all work performed on equipment
- Complete pre and post vehicle inspection
- Perform proper inspections and testing of customer equipment aligned with preventive maintenance
- Communicate with business partners and leaders regarding customer needs, parts and servicing of equipment
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Must have valid Drivers' License for your employment state
- At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment and conducting preventive maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical schematics
- Versatile equipment maintenance repair skill set
- Ability to adhere to OSHA regulations including, but not limited to fall protection, lock-out tag-out procedures
- Associate must be willing to get EPA 608 certification and be willing to perform the responsibility of refrigerant removal for recycling
- Must reside within 15-20 miles of the target city
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently driving customer satisfaction with a passion for equipment maintenance
- Ability to consistently and accurately document work performed
