About the role
- Intern assisting in HR data management and analytics for People team at startup. Contributing to insights, reporting, and technical support using SQL, Python, and Java.
Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to the cleaning, organization, and maintenance of HR data to ensure accuracy and accessibility, while supporting integration across HR systems such as Workday.
- Aid in developing and maintaining People Dashboards to generate actionable insights and reports that guide workforce strategies.
- Assist the People Team in data-driven initiatives and provide analytical support to cross-functional projects, such as delivering insights through headcount breakdowns and percentage analyses.
- Help document data processes and best practices to maintain efficient operations, while identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance existing HR data workflows.
- Participate in projects to enhance data system capabilities, utilizing tools such as SQL, Python, and Java to optimize data processes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets is required; familiarity with SQL, Java, Google Data Studio, and Looker Studio is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attentive to details.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; capable of working independently.
