SAP Presales Technology Architect supporting EMEA customer projects on SAP workloads and solutions. Design and architect SAP landscapes while delivering training and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Support international EMEA-wide customer projects where SAP is a primary workload.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building strong, long-term relationships.
Analyze customer requirements and size SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.) and other mission-critical workloads.
Design complex solutions and architectures for SAP landscapes, including associated services.
Deliver customer presentations that showcase solutions and technology updates.
Explain SAP strategy and customer options to both customers and partners; advise on available SAP offerings and help customers identify the best fit.
Plan, organize, and deliver MCS and SAP training sessions (for example, SAP Bootcamp and Tech Jam) for HPE employees and partners.
Maintain ongoing partner relationships and manage partner–HPE interactions.
Share knowledge and collaborate closely with the sales specialist team.
Work cross–business-unit to create true end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
Technical bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting (presales or solution architecture)
Sales-oriented technology professional who combines deep technical skills with strong business acumen to guide customers through transformational journeys
Demonstrated technical expertise in compute and mission-critical solutions
Experience with SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) beneficial
Knowledge of adjacent technologies that leverage compute platforms and experience with HPE Scale Up Server 3200 or similar systems
Strong consultative selling skills, including active listening, problem framing, whiteboarding and storytelling
A passion for leading-edge and emerging technologies and enjoyment in engaging new customers and partners on technical topics
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Business fluency in German and in English language.
