Sales Specialist responsible for managing and selling storage solutions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Collaborating with internal teams to support proposal development and drive customer engagement in the UK.
Responsibilities
Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned accounts.
Develops pursuit plans, contributes towards the building and management of storage sales pipeline.
Proactively supports proposal development, negotiations and deal closings and coordinates supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Works closely with and supports the Account Manager, providing technical expertise and support.
Assesses solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to determine qualify-in/qualify-out status.
Actively generates customer interest and understands the customer's buying trends.
Proactively supports deal closure in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders, including account managers and channel partners.
Requirements
University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Typically 2-5+ years of sales experience.
Storage related sales experience preferred.
Strong leadership and initiative to successfully prospect, negotiate and close deals.
Knowledge and expertise to conceptualize and articulate well-targeted solutions in storage, from proposal to contract sign-off.
In-depth knowledge about storage, service, cloud, solutions and differentiators between own offerings and competitors' offers.
Solid communication and presentation skills.
Adequate understanding of financial acumen.
