Responsibilities
Lead regional growth in orders, revenue, and gross margin for wastewater and stormwater pumping solutions, products, and services.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with market conditions, utilities demand, and public-sector projects.
Carry out market analysis to identify growth opportunities within utilities and municipal infrastructure markets, translating insights into actionable commercial plans.
Drive growth across new equipment, engineered solutions, and aftermarket/service offerings.
Manage and develop regional distribution partners and sales representatives serving utilities and municipal customers.
Strengthen relationships with utility operators, municipalities, consulting engineers, and public-sector stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Service teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
Drive a disciplined sales process and accurate forecasting using Salesforce / CRM tools.
Collaborate with other Xylem brands to enable synergy and best-practice sharing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably within utilities, municipal, wastewater, or stormwater markets.
Mandatory: at least 5 years of experience in the Water Utilities market with strong knowledge of wastewater and stormwater pumping systems.
Proven regional sales leadership experience managing distributed teams and sales channels.
Strong understanding of pumping technologies, engineered solutions, and services.
Solid financial and business acumen, including experience managing sales KPIs, revenue, margins, and forecasts.
Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
