About the role

• Project Manager managing multiple construction projects for Greatario with hands on involvement. Requires collaboration with team and contractors in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for multiple projects at any given time
• Coordination of construction projects with hands on involvement
• Regular job site visits providing hands on assistance as needed
• Assembling shop drawings packages for submission
• Develop cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project
• Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors
• Attending construction meetings and overseeing performance of all trade contractors
• Reviews engineering drawings
• Ordering & ensuring delivery of materials to job sites
• Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts
• Interaction with contractors, engineers and customers
• Technical support for Sales staff
• Liaise with Finance to ensure bill processing
• Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and budget
• Reports to client about progress and modifications of plans.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years Project Management experience in the Construction Industry
• Post Secondary education in a related field, preference given to candidates with a C.E.T Designation.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven ability to liaise with clients and consultants in the management of site staff and subcontractors in multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficient computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office Suite and AutoCAD required.
• Flexible to travel
• Ability to work in a team environment along with strong management skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, and effectively prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
• Detail oriented, effective problem solving with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Knowledge and understanding of French considered an asset.
