Responsibilities
As a Grainger Campus Intern your role will be to raise awareness of Grainger to all academic and administrative departments on campus as a preferred source to purchase MRO products & services.
Grainger Campus Interns work closely with our customers onsite at the department level by giving them a better understanding of Grainger’s offerings, internal systems and processes.
If specific Grainger contracts or agreements are established for your campus, your role will be to raise awareness and promote the use of them to those same departments.
You will focus on building lasting relationships with departmental MRO buyers within the University in order to increase Grainger business and identify larger MRO opportunities.
Skillset Development: Receive ongoing coaching to enhance communication, presentation, and selling skillsets.
Leadership Exposure: Meet with executive leaders to learn about different areas of the business.
Mentorship: Throughout the program, interns receive direct feedback from a peer-mentor, their manager to help them in their professional development.
Network: Interns will grow their network.
Requirements
You are a current student at Rutgers University
Expected graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or related field between December 2026 – June 2027
