Responsibilities
Responsible for performing RCA on warranty and quality rejects
Review warranty and quality issues, driving the supplier to root cause and corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Work with cross-functional teams, including design and manufacturing to ensure a closed loop feedback system
Report key supplier metrics tied to warranty and quality rejects
Review and approve failure analysis reports from suppliers
Travel to suppliers' factories as needed
Requirements
Post-Secondary education in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3-year college diploma) or a related field of study
5+ years of Electrical and/or Product Engineering experience in a high-volume electronics manufacturing facility
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3-year college diploma) or a related field of study
10+ years of Electrical and/or Product Engineering experience in a high-volume electronics manufacturing facility
Experience with 5D/8D and various RCCA methods
Excellent hardware and software debugging skills(Hands on and Remote)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detailed understanding of various technologies such as CAN, Automotive Ethernet, Audio, Displays and Cameras, Cellular/WiFi/BT RF
Knowledge of chip programming and software download into electronic modules
Knowledge of SMT processes
Experience with Jira
Good verbal and written communication skills.
