Responsibilities
Develop eDrive motor components and assembly design, models (3D) and drawings (2D) that are capable of being produced
Interface with Basic Design, D&R engineers, and suppliers to ensure design is compatible with all requirements
Develop GD&T and perform axial and radial tolerance stack-up analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
3+ years of experience in hardware design and development using CATIA V5
3+ years of experience in automotive industry
Master's of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
5+ years of experience in hardware design and development using CATIA V5
5+ years of experience in automotive industry
Proficient in powertrain component design
Expert level user of CATIA V5
Experience in Team Center Engineering
Experience with transmission packaging interface
Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams and driving product development issues to resolution
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
