About the role

  • Key Account Manager developing partnerships in the FMCG sector for foodloose. Driving sales and building customer relationships in the DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • You develop our sales activities and build strong, partnership-based customer relationships.
  • You bring creative energy to the team, think cross-functionally, and are eager to grow with us.
  • You manage and further develop selected Key Accounts in the DACH region, with a particular focus on drugstores and organic/health-food retailers.
  • You build long-term, partnership-based relationships with our customers and actively shape these. You are responsible for the revenue, volume and margins of your accounts—with a focus on increasing sell-through/stock turnover.
  • You conduct annual reviews and listing negotiations confidently and with a results-oriented approach.
  • You ensure an optimally aligned product assortment with our retail partners and successfully support the launch of new products.
  • You coordinate promotions and POS activations.
  • Based on data analysis, you identify customer and market trends, derive strategies and implement them quickly and pragmatically.
  • Together with the supply chain team you create reliable forecasts and ensure dependable planning.
  • You work closely with Marketing, Product Development and other departments.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in Key Account Management within the FMCG sector, ideally in the food industry
  • Strong analytical skills, a solid affinity for numbers and confident Excel skills
  • You create presentations in PowerPoint quickly, in a structured and persuasive manner
  • Negotiation skills, persistence and a high level of initiative characterize you
  • You have strong execution skills and get things done
  • You support our mission and communicate clearly, openly and on equal terms—within the team and with customers
  • You live in Hamburg or are willing to relocate here
  • Good contacts with decision-makers in drugstore chains and organic specialty retail across the DACH region are desirable
  • Ideally, you have experience leading small teams
