About the role

  • Manager, Total Rewards overseeing compensation, benefits, and wellness programs at Finning Canada. Leading a small team to modernize programs for employee rewards and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead compensation programs, salary structures, job evaluation, and annual cycles
  • Oversee benefits and pension plans, vendor relationships, and employee education
  • Enhance recognition and wellness programs that support culture and wellbeing
  • Provide data‑driven insights to support decisions on competitiveness, pay equity, and program effectiveness
  • Lead and develop a small, high‑performing Total Rewards team

Requirements

  • Strong compensation and benefits experience
  • Experience in Total Rewards with strength in compensation design and market analysis
  • Knowledge of benefits, pension, and wellness programs
  • Experience in complex or multi‑site environments; union exposure is an asset
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to lead people or programs with a collaborative, inclusive style
  • Designations (CPHR, CEBS, CCP) are an asset, not a requirement
